Terms and Conditions

Our Services

Terms & Conditions — OneCall Property Services Inc.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking, requesting, or receiving services from OneCall Property Services Inc. (“the Company”), you (“the Client”) agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. Services Provided

OneCall Property Services Inc. provides property maintenance, junk removal, estate clearing, cleaning, landscaping support, and related home services in North Vancouver and surrounding areas. Services are performed based on the information provided by the Client at the time of booking.

3. Booking & Scheduling

  • All jobs are scheduled based on availability.
  • Estimated arrival windows may be provided but are not guaranteed due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen site conditions.
  • The Client must ensure access to the property at the scheduled time unless otherwise arranged in advance.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We require reasonable notice for cancellations or changes to scheduled work:

  • 72 hours or more notice: No cancellation fee.
  • Less than 72 hours’ notice: 5% cancellation fee of the total quoted job.
  • Less than 48 hours’ notice: 10% cancellation fee of the total quoted job.
  • Rescheduled jobs: Cancellation fees are waived if the job is rescheduled to a new date within 30 days of the original booking.

If the Client is not present at the property at the scheduled time and has not provided notice, this will be treated as a late cancellation and subject to the above fees.

5. Pricing & Quotes

  • Quotes are based on the information provided by the Client, including volume, access, location, and scope of work.
  • If the actual job differs from the description given at booking, the Company reserves the right to adjust pricing accordingly.
  • Disposal fees, dump fees, and recycling costs may be additional unless otherwise stated in writing.

6. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about the job.
  • Disclose any known hazards on the property (e.g., sharp objects, unstable structures, hazardous materials).
  • Ensure pets are secured during service.
  • Ensure safe access to work areas.

7. Exclusion of Liability — Incorrect Information

OneCall Property Services Inc. is not liable for:

  • Delays, additional charges, or incomplete work resulting from incorrect, misleading, or missing information provided by the Client.
  • Damages that occur because the Client failed to disclose site conditions, obstacles, or hazards.
  • Inaccessible areas that were not communicated in advance.

8. Property & Damage Liability

OneCall Property Services Inc. takes reasonable care while performing services; however:

We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage to property, surfaces, landscaping, structures, or driveways.
  • Cosmetic wear and tear that naturally occurs during work.
  • Hidden damage behind walls, under flooring, inside cabinets, or underground.
  • Damage caused by structural weakness, rot, or deterioration not visible at the time of service.

We are liable for:

  • Damage directly caused by gross negligence or improper handling by our crew.
  • Damage must be reported within 48 hours of service completion to be considered.

9. Safety & Site Conditions

If the worksite is deemed unsafe at any time, the Company may pause or refuse service without penalty. This includes:

  • Unsafe structures
  • Hazardous materials
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Blocked or unsafe access

10. Disposal & Recycling

As part of our green initiative, OneCall Property Services Inc. recycles and diverts waste whenever possible. However, disposal methods depend on material type and facility availability.

11. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Acceptable payment methods include credit card, e-transfer, or approved invoicing.
  • Late payments may incur additional fees.

12. Changes to These Terms

OneCall Property Services Inc. reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
